This is made out of a glow in the dark material and the glow intensity is based on the exposure time to a light source like a flashlight or the sun, these are NOT self powered or battery powered they just absorb the light throughout the day and shine in the dark.
Installation is very simple! just screw the dick caps instead of the stock black caps and off you go.
Please keep in mind this product is 3D printed with hard durable plastic, as a result you will be able to feel the layer lines made by the 3D printing process, other than that it won't make a difference and will work great!
